Yuvraj Singh Has The Funniest & Epic Reaction To Rahul Tewatia’s 5 Sixes In An Over

Rahul Tewatia is the man of the moment as every cricket fan as well as people from the cricket fraternity are in awe of the innings that he played last evening. We are talking about the IPL match which was played between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab. Both the teams batted brilliantly but it was RR that ultimately walked home as the winners after chasing the highest total of the IPL till date.

KXIP scored 223 runs while batting first with the help of Mayank Agarwal’s blistering knock of 106 runs (50) and KL Rahul’s 69 runs (54). Nicholas Pooran also came in handy with his knock of 25 for which he played only 8 balls.

Despite not having a good start, RR was on the right path with skipper Steve Smith (50) and Sanju Samson (85) on the crease. But after both of them got out, tide seemed to turn in favor of Punjab especially when Rahul Tewatia was batting. He was finding it difficult to connect with the ball and was not even able to rotate the strike. How much trouble he was having in batting can be understood by the fact that he scored only 8 runs in the first 19 balls that he played.

But he suddenly changed his gear in the 18th over which was bowled by West Indian pacer Sheldon Cottrell. Tewatia went on to score 30 runs (5 sixes) in that over and things changed completely for RR. Though Rahul Tewatia got out of 53 (31), RR won the match with three balls to bowl.

Here is the video in which you can see Rahul Tewatia hitting 5 sixes in one over:

Soon social media users started talking about Rahul Tewatia as he became a sensation. The former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh who is also known for the six sixes that he scored in the 2007 CT20 World Cup on the bowling of England’s Stuart Broad took to Twitter and made a funny tweet.

In his tweet, the former Indian cricketer thanked Rahul Tewatia for missing one ball while at the same time congratulating RR for the great win. Here is what Yuvi tweeted, “Mr @rahultewatia02 na bhai na ? thanks for missing one ball! What a game congratulations to RR for a spectacular win!!! #RRvKXIP  @mayankcricket great knock @IamSanjuSamson brilliant !”

Well, this was certainly one of the most amazing turnarounds that cricket lovers would have seen in any match and Rahul Tewatia is a star now.
