The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) pays a good amount to the cricketers and some cricketers also earn a good amount through the endorsements as companies like to rope in famous cricketers for brand promotion campaigns.
BCCI awards annual contracts to the players in four categories – in Grade A+ category cricketers are paid Rs. 7 crore annually, in Grade A category cricketers are paid Rs. 5 crore annually, in Grade B category cricketers are paid Rs. 3 crore annually while in Grade C, cricketers are paid Rs. 1 crore annually.
