Sidharth Shukla: Some Unknown Facts About The Actor Who Will Always Live In Our Hearts 

Today (September 2) is a very sad day for not only the fans of actor Sidharth Shukla but for the whole nation and TV and movie industry as well as the 40 yr old actor took his last breath today morning after suffering from cardiac arrest. Sidharth was taken to Cooper Hospital, Mumbai where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. While the whole nation mourns, we take you through some special moments and events of Sidharth’s life:

1. Sidharth Shukla was a Hindu Brahmin whose mother Rita Shukla is a homemaker while his father, Ashok Shukla was a civil engineer who worked for Reserve Bank of India. Sidharth was the youngest of the three kids as he had two elder sisters.

2. Sidharth Shukla completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s High School, Fort, Mumbai and after that he took admission in Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design from where he did his graduation in interior designing.

3. Sidharth Shukla was very much inclined towards sports as he used to play tennis and football during his school days. The actor was also a part of the Under-19 football team which faced AC Milan, the famous club from Italy when they came to Mumbai to take part in the Festa Italiana.

4. Sidharth Shukla was interested in making his career in interior designing and also worked in a designer firm for around two years after completing his graduation but his mother asked him to take part in a modeling contest which completely changed his life.

5. In 2004, Sidharth Shukla came runner-up in the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest and one of the most important events of his life was winning the World’s Best Model contest 2005 which was organized in Turkey that year. Sidharth Shukla had to defeat 40 models from various countries in order to win this contest.

6. Sidharth’s father lost his life because of lung disorder and that time his mother took up all the responsibilities on her shoulders.

7. Sidharth Shukla debuted on television with Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in the year 2008 and after that he was seen in many serials but his most popular work was Balika Vadhu. As the name suggests, the serial was based on the child marriage which was practiced in India, mostly in rural areas despite being declared illegal by the government.

8. In 2014, Sidharth made his Bollywood debut with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in which he played a supporting role. The lead roles in the movie was played by Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt and the movie was produced by Karan Johar.

9. Sidharth Shukla also acted in a Kazakhstan movie, Business in Kazakhstan which got released in 2016.

10. Sidharth Shukla not only took part in some reality shows but he also won couple of them. He won Fear Factor: Khatron Ka Khiladi in 2016 and Bigg Boss 13 in 2019. Sidharth Shukla was the most favorite contestant of the show which is being hosted by superstar Salman Khan and people loved watching Sidharth Shukla and Punjabi actress Shehnaaz Kaur Gill together. Their fans started calling them as #SidNaaz and singer Tony Kakkar also made a music video, Shona Shona with them which was a hit among the audiences.

11. Sidharth was at the top spot for 20 weeks in BB13 and he was not only voted the most favorite contestant but he was also the most tweeted player of the game.

12. In his TV career, Sidharth has also worked as host in show shows such as crime show, Savdhaan India (2014), talent hunt show – India’s Got Talent 6 (2015), India’s Got Talent 7 (2016).

13. Fitness was very important for Sidharth Shukla and he got recognition for his health and fitness as well.

14. Sidharth made his debut on digital platform some time back in the web series Broken But Beautiful 3 and people and critics both praised him for his performance.
