Ratan Tata, the former chairman of the Tata Group is one of the most famous and most loved Indians and along with his philanthropic acts, he is also known for his humbleness and modesty. In October 2019, Ratan Tata decided to join the photo and video sharing app, Instagram so that he can share some old cherished moments of his life along with the special moments of present times. Ratan Tata is also a very sensitive person and sometimes he also asks his followers to help him in finding home for stray dogs through his Instagram posts.

When the number of his followers reached the 1 million mark, Ratan Tata took to Instagram and thanked everyone. He posted a photo of himself in a happy mood sitting on the floor with the caption,

“I’ve just seen that the number of people on this page has reached a milestone. This wonderful online family is not what I expected when I joined Instagram and I have you to thank for it. I do believe that the quality of connections you make in this age of the internet is far greater than any number. Being a part of your community and learning from you is truly exciting and makes me very happy and I hope our journey together continues.”

Soon his fans and followers started congratulating him and telling him that he is an inspiration for them but one female follower of Ratan Tata made a comment which made many people angry as that female follower congratulated Ratan Tata but also called him chhotu which is mostly used for addressing younger people.

Many social media users slammed this female for showing disrespect to Ratan Tata, however the female Instagram user tried to convince everyone by saying that she said Chhotu out of love and as Ratan Tata is an inspiring person, she can call him anything she likes.

However, when people didn’t stop criticizing her, Ratan Tata also decided to defend the female Instagram user, he commented, “There is a child in each one of us. Please treat this young lady with respect.”

However when the slamming didn’t stop, the female Instagram user deleted the comment which made Ratan Tata unhappy and he chose to talk about it in three Instagram stories.
