R Madhavan & Dia’s Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein Sequel Is On Cards, Fans Will Be Super Happy 

Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (2001) is one of the most loved romantic movies of all time which has now earned the status of a classic over the years. The film starred R. Madhavan, Saif Ali Khan and the debutante Dia Mirza in the lead roles and the director of the movie was Gautham Menon.

RHTDM was the remake of Tamil movie Minnale which was also directed by Gautham Menon. Surprisingly, the flick was not able to perform well at the box-office despite the fact that it had everything (romance, emotion, beautiful songs, superb acting performances, action, etc.) needed in a complete entertainer.

The fans were hoping to see a sequel of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and it seems as if their wish is going to be fulfilled after almost 18-19 years of the release of RHTDM.

As per a leading daily, the makers had some plots in mind but none of them was clicking with them. However, now a story has made them excited and they feel that it will be liked by audiences as well. The sequel will star Madhavan and Dia Mirza and they will be reprising their old roles of Maddy and Reena. The couple will face some problems in their married life and will try to bring their love alive once again.

The script is said to be in its final stage and if you remember just almost a month ago, both the lead actors Madhavan and Dia talked about RHTDM during an Instagram Live chat session, “#DownToEarthWithDee”.

During that chat, they both agreed that they are trying their best to make the sequel happen but they also said that they won’t let the honesty and innocence of Maddy and Reena get diluted in the process. They also made it clear to the fans that they will come together to work only if they will be able to give their best performance.

If you haven’t seen RHTDM till now, do watch it right away coz you have not watched one of the best romantic movies ever made.
