Netizens Started Petition To Boycott Salman Khan, YRF & Karan Johar Post Sushant Singh’s Demise

The whole nation is finding it difficult to believe that the talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left all of us and we won’t be able to see him anymore. He was just a 34 years old youngster who wanted to fulfill his dreams. The actor who could have ruled Bollywood took the decision of ending his life by hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in Bandra. This horrific incident took place on Sunday and on Monday, Sushant’s last rites were carried out in Mumbai. The “Kedarnath” actor was suffering from depression and was visibly disturbed from few days, as per the domestic help.

The debate on nepotism once again started after Sushant’s demise. There were some reports according to which the “Kai Po Che” star was banned by some big production houses as well as producers such as Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, etc. Some clips of old videos are also going viral in which A-listers or the star kids are seen making fun of Sushant in a talk show or at other events.

Social media users are quite outraged and very angry with the bigwigs of the industry. Many people are demanding that movies of Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Bhansali, YRF, etc. should be boycotted in order to teach them a lesson.

Petition to boycott Salman Khan, YRF and Karan Johar

Now a campaign has been started on change.org in which people have to sign a petition for boycotting the movies of KJO, SKF and YRF. Earlier the target of 3 lakh signatures was kept, later it was increased to 5 lakhs and then to 10 lakh. However now the count of signatures has crossed 10 lakh and the target has been renewed at 15 lakh.

The petition was started by a woman known as Jay Shree Sarma Srikanth who is a Bollywood choreographer, Artistic director and an RJ by profession. She is basically from Kenya but lives in Princeton, New Jersey. The count of signatures is increasing at a very high speed as more than 12.50 lakh people have signed the petition in just 32 hours. Just to inform, the petition was started at 6:47 am on 16th June.

Jay Shree has also taken to Facebook and asked her friends and followers to sign the petition and get 2 Million signatures so that such type of incidents are not repeated again.

The protest is not limited to social media only as the people of Patna from where Sushant belonged have burnt effigies of Karan Johar and Salman Khan. They have also taken a pledge that they would not let their movies release in the city.
