One of the most controversial shows of the Indian television, Bigg Boss is back on your TV screens with its 14th season and the show is again going to be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The “Sultan” actor recently took to social media platforms and shared a photo of himself from the sets of the reality show Bigg Boss 14. Salman was looking cool in an all black outfit and it seems that he has worked on his muscles in the lockdown period as he was looking lean as well.

There is no denying the fact that the reality show Bigg Boss has a huge fan base and its TRP also goes high because of the massive following that Salman Khan enjoys but this time, the atmosphere for the show doesn’t seem to be very positive.

Bollywood’s reputation has maligned to a great extent due to the emergence of big names in the drug investigation which has been carried out by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the probe of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. Sushant was found hanging from ceiling at his Bandra residence and there were many theories doing rounds regarding the manner in which he lost his life. However, recently the forensic team of AIIMS has stated that Sushant committed suicide and he was not murdered.

After the sudden demise of SSR on 14th June, it was said by Mumbai Police that he was under depression and was undergoing treatment for the same too. The nepotism debate once again surfaced and it was alleged that he lost work due to nepotism and some big names and producers of the industry banned him from working in their movies. It was also said that Salman Khan bullied Sushant once after the “Kedarnath” actor had a fight with Sooraj Pancholi who was launched in Bollywood by Salman Khan himself.

Since then, the fans of Sushant are completely against Salman and whatever revelations have been made after CBI and NCB started investigating the case have further damaged the reputation of Bollywood.

Soon after Salman posted his photos from the sets of Bigg Boss, many netizens started trending #BoycottSalmanKhan and #BoycottBiggBoss14. Here are some of the selected tweets:

The TRPs of the show will tell us whether the boycott was really effective or not. Moreover, it will be a big challenge for the makers of the show to make Bigg Boss 14 a success especially considering the fact that the last season was the most successful season of the controversial reality show.
